ANGELA GALA

Angela Gala, founder and principal in Rogers & Gala, has created memorable corporate events, weddings, and parties throughout the country and abroad. She has planned everything from trade shows and televised symposiums to weddings in Rome.   Angela has been featured on The Today Show with business partner Sikky Rogers. She's been quoted about party and event planning by The Associated Press, ABCNews.com, MSNBC.com, Bankrate.com, and the web site of the The Toronto Star, Canada's largest daily paper. Closer to home, Angela has landed in the pages of The Charlotte Observer, Charlotte Magazine, The Charlotte Business Journal and Charlotte's podcast "On Life and Meaning".

Angela heads up the logistics team at Rogers and Gala.  You will often find her  using her skills to work on grassroots events such as que-OS Art Collective ,  The ppl's online platform of independent media  or The Charlotte Center for the Humanities and Civic Imagaination and developing event protocol and marketing plans for clients such as The Bechtler Museum of Modern Art and The Ultimate Access Pass for Wells Fargo Championship.    Angela is currently the Director of Events and Guest Experience for The Charlotte Center for the Humanities and Civic Imagination and hosts bi-monthly Conversations called Wisdom Wednesdays.

In such an intense working environment, stress is always a major player for event teams and clients alike.  Angela has relied heavily on Mindfulness Meditation to manage this stress.  It has worked so well for her that she, along with her teacher, founded Youth Meditation, a non-profit to teach children, teachers and parents those same skills.

Angela brings to Rogers & Gala an intimate knowledge of how to handle the nuts and bolts of an event with grace and style, whether it's for 150 or 1500.
